James Gilfillan

James is the Chief Investment Strategist and a Director of AlphaWealth. James co-founded Alpha Asset Management, a forerunner to AlphaWealth, in 1997. Prior to that James spent 4 years on Wall Street and 4 years as an Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Allan Gray. He is a CFA and holds an AB (cum laude) degree from Harvard University. James has a long history with Chrysalis, from having provided seed capital when the Chrysalis Credit Arbitrage Fund was launched in 2008, to investing client funds with Chrysalis today. He also advises the clients of Chrysalis Wealth Management.
